Glydel "Gly" Mandane-Ballesteros is a full-time community development worker at Gelacio I. Yason Foundation-Family Farm School.

 

She is the acting guidance counsellor, human resource development officer, researcher, Transformative Education Tools (TET) program officer, and teacher at GIYF-FFS. She has been facilitating recollections and training among the students, teachers, and parents for almost five years now. She has been invited by different schools and university to train and to share her knowledge about holistic wellness practices.

She is a Reiki Medical Intuitive, Meditation Teacher and Capacitar Practitioner (Body Literacy Tools for Stress and Trauma Relief). She graduated BS Psychology (Cum Laude) in Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU). She is also part of the professional group of Center for Community Development Volunteers, AdNU. Later, her passion for community development led her towards pursuing the path of a Jesuit Volunteer of the Philippines (Batch 38).

Her mission in life is to be service of God. She hopes to promote healing, love, kindness, and transformation through Reiki, Meditation and Body Literacy. God has inspired her to create Kagandahang TaGly to offer a loving space to anyone looking for a self-care buddy. Gly also passionately loves to perform spoken word poetry, to do story-telling with her daughter and to read good books.
